Do you ever wonder what is going on in your waterway? RAS can perform a variety of tests to generate reliable data to measure water clarity, oxygen levels, temperature and many other variables. Listed below are a few of the tests we can perform.

Dissolved Oxygen: DO levels are considered the most important and commonly employed measurement of water quality. DO is an indicator of a water body’s ability to support fish and other desirable aquatic life.

Secchi Disk: Measures water clarity or transparency

pH (acidity):An index of lake water’s acid level; measures the concentration of hydrogen ions.

Total Dissolved Solids (TDS):The amount of dissolved substances in the water, such as salts or minerals.

Turbidity: Provides an estimate of the muddiness or cloudiness of the water due to clay, silt, finely divided organic and inorganic matter, soluble colored organic compounds, plankton, and microscopic organisms.

Temperature: Physical property of matter that quantitatively expresses hot and cold

Conductivity: Measures water’s ability to conduct an electric current and is directly related to the total dissolved salts (ions) in the water.

Other tests may be available dependent on the customer’s objective.
